Amberstone Jewelry is well known for manufacturing unique necklaces, bracelets, pendants, amber rings, rosaries, amber donuts and we also handle special orders from our customers. All the products you can find in our shop are handcrafted and made from pure Baltic Amber.

Thanks to the amber trade, Gdansk was one of the wealthiest European cities before the 14th century. The Teutonic Order managed to stifle the creativity of local artisans for more than 150 years when they produced the rosary. But when the early guild of amber craftsmen from Gdansk was founded (1477).

They moreover produce a better product. And the yellow items made by them reached the palaces of princes and kings across Europe and were the most valuable diplomatic gifts for popes and sultans. Craftsmen create a number of decorative items and can be used such as boxes lined with yellow relief, ship models, paraffin holders, chess sets, mugs, vases, plates and glass with yellow frames.

The methods used by the masters from Gdansk live on today. In the European, Far Eastern and American amber markets you will find Polish amber craftsmen in a dominant position and it is not surprising that Gdansk craftsmen take the lead.
